Attack on Chinese Engineers: The Dragon is angry after the attack on the convoy of Chinese engineers in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. A Pakistani driver along with 5 Chinese engineers were killed in this suicide attack. Pakistan alleges that the TTP terrorists sitting in Afghanistan carried out the attack in Bisham. On the other hand, China is pressuring Pakistan for the safety of its engineers. On Thursday, a delegation from Pakistan reached Taliban Afghanistan. A meeting was held between the officials of both the countries in the capital Kabul. During this, Pakistan raised the issue of the attack on Chinese engineers and demanded ‘security cooperation’.
All the Chinese engineers killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were working on the Dasu Dam project. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had said last week that this attack was planned in Afghanistan. He had demanded the Afghan government to hand over the accused. On the other hand, Taliban government spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid completely rejected Pakistan’s allegations. He also said that Pakistan should stop blaming Afghanistan to hide its failure. So far no group has taken responsibility for this attack, TTP said it was not involved in it.
Pakistan delegation reached Kabul
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has shared information about the recent meeting between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Foreign Office said, on the instructions of PM Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Secretary Khurram Agha visited Afghanistan. Khurram Agha held a meeting with Afghan government Deputy Minister Mohammad Nabi Omari. During this, Pakistan sought assistance from Afghanistan in catching the criminals involved in the attack on Chinese engineers. During this, the Taliban said that it would not allow its soil to be used for terrorist activities against any country.
Afghanistan will investigate the terrorist attack
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said that Afghanistan has agreed to investigate this attack. Actually, the Dragon was very angry after the attack on Chinese engineers. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif himself reached the Chinese Embassy immediately after the attack. During this time, China had asked to catch the criminals and take action against them, but Pakistan has not been able to do anything in this matter yet. Pakistan had recently said in a statement that the person who attacked was an Afghan citizen.
